So...my wonderful, loving sister Bree has been helping me out with my blog since the day Brightyn was born. I have just been loving it and I have been procrasting to learn how to do this stuff but today, I finally found someone to help me figure this out! BRANDI MCMILLEN!!!!! And I am so happy,by the way, her baby is soooooo cute!

Day of our arrival

Bree was so excited to see Brightyn for the first time. Then, she hit us with some great news...well, we just saw Adi's shirt and it said..."I'm going to be a big sister!" And now, she just found out she is having another girl...we are sooooo excited!

Brightyn's Blessing Day

One of my best friends from high schools mom made Brightyn's blessing dress, it was so beautiful I cant thank her enough. All day my dad kept saying "That is the most beautiful blessing dress I have ever seen" he thought it was prettier then most wedding dresses, I think I might have to agree. Thanks again Marcia, I loved it!

Surprise... She's here!

Can you say surprise, I can! I had her 12 days early... We kept wondering if my due date was off but my doctor said it was not so 2 more weeks it was. Either it was or I just had her super early either way she is here and we are all happy about that! I went into labor last night and had her this afternoon, 7 pounds 8 ounces, dark hair, and looks just like her momma. Crazy how it all happened, we were not expecting her to come, (obviously) so my mom and Kenzie went to Utah last night to go to my cousin's wedding today (congrats, Mallorie) and I went into labor. We called and told them I was in labor and they were going to come back this morning but the nurse said the baby would be here in 2 hours so they decided if they were going to miss it anyway they may as well stay for the wedding and come back a few hours later, but we ran into a few problems and she didn't come for a few hours after what was expected. So had they left they would have made it... bummer if we only knew! My dad was great, and a good support. She's beautiful, happy, and healthy, we will post pictures soon.
Ta ta for now I have to go figure this nursing thing out!

So there are two names I like but I cant decide Journey Nicole (different/some people might think weird) or Jordyn Alexa (Too common/boring) Vote for your name of choice on my side bar or leave a good suggestion. I hope a third name will just ring a bell... suggestions please.

Baby Shower

My dad's cousin Angela threw me a baby shower this weekend in Utah, it was so much fun and I got so many great things. Thanks again Ange! Bree and Addi flew out the next day so it was a nice surprise to see them again they had been visiting her husbands family in Utah after they left our house. We didn't take very many pictures when most everyone was there so the pictures are mostly me and my family.

My sister Bree and her family came all the way from Florida to visit us for Christmas and my poor little niece Addi got really sick. When she started to feel a little better we decided to liven her up with a little Rock Band!
